The Line: Attorney General Demands Resignation
September 29, 2017 – New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas on Monday demanded that Analee Maestas resign from her position on the Albuquerque Public Schools board after she was accused of stealing from the charter school she ran. While Maestas maintains her innocence, Balderas said the appearance of impropriety shows she is unfit for her duties on the board of the largest school district in the state.
