An American Vision: The Santa Fe Opera

A person with glasses and dark hair, conducting with a baton, is wearing a light-colored long sleeve shirt against a dark background. The scene exudes the precise elegance of an American Vision performance at Santa Fe Opera.

The Lensic Theater

211 W. San Francisco St., Santa Fe

In 1957, against all odds, in the high desert north of Santa Fe, John Crosby set out to create an operatic theatre unlike any before. Featuring never-before-seen archival materials, this one-hour film captures the Santa Fe Opera’s remarkable history and explores the visionary efforts that have made it one of the world's most sought-after summer festivals.

Seating is extremely limited. Please reserve your seats at the link below.

An American Vision: The Santa Fe Opera premieres Thursday, Nov. 14th at 7pm on NMPBS Ch 5.1.
