The statewide nonprofit organization New Mexico First closed its doors early this year, granting its remaining resources to NMPBS.
Following New Mexico’s First's 38-year legacy of service to the people of New Mexico, NMPBS will be creating new programming that features public deliberation, carrying on the legacy of the New Mexico First founders.
The goal of NMPBS’s new production will be to engage New Mexicans across the state in a deliberative process to understand their viewpoints on critical issues that affect New Mexico communities.
