Gwyn, Woody

Woody Gwyn was born in 1944 in San Antonio, Texas. Gwyn has worked in New Mexico, especially in plein air, and he has a studio in Galisteo, New Mexico. He studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. His work is in the New Mexico Museum of Art, Albuquerque Museum, Eiteljorg Museum, and Phoenix Art Museum. He was a 2010 recipient of the New Mexico Governor’s Awards for Excellence in the Arts.
