Closer to home, KNME celebrates community by producing an intimate portrait, Recuerdos de Los Duranes. Working hand-in-hand with the Los Duranes Neighborhood Association, KNME conducted an oral history of the neighborhood. The result is a poignant account of how so much has changed so quickly in this traditional Hispanic community. Yet, Duranes residents still firmly believe in their community.
