2015 Legislative Session, State of the State Address Analysis

This week on New Mexico in Focus, we head to the Roundhouse in Santa Fe with correspondent Gwyneth Doland. It’s the first week of the 2015 legislative session. We hear how falling oil prices are impacting businesses and the state budget. We also learn about legislation this session that aims to increase the disclosure requirements for lobbyists in New Mexico.

Host Gene Grant and The Line panelists sit down to discuss Governor Martinez’s State of the State address. The governor highlighted her priorities for education and economic development on the opening day of this year’s 60 day session. She also called on lawmakers to work together across party lines.
