Legislative Rundown, The Line
This week on New Mexico in Focus, producer Matt Grubs interviews four members of the state’s Capitol press corps to run down the legislative session, talk about themes and trends and what lies ahead when lawmakers return next year.
Gene Grant and the Line opinion panelists pick winners and losers from the past two months of lawmaking, as Democrats closed the books at the Roundhouse with the first session under a new governor. The Line also looks at New Mexico’s response to the influx of new immigrants, and critiques the “education moonshot” launched this legislative session.
