Author Sharon Nir Talks About The Hidden Challenges Of Immigration

January 6, 2017 – Immigrating to the United States is more complicated than some people imagine. Albuquerque resident Sharon Nir has navigated the immigration system for years, first when her husband came to the US for a fellowship and later when the family moved to New Mexico where his services as a surgeon are in high demand.

Nir wrote about her experiences as professional woman and immigrant in her book “The Opposite of Comfortable.”
