Preparing For The End Of Life

November 3, 2017 – As human beings, we all one day face the prospect of our deaths. And yet remarkably few of us make plans about our final days. In this episode, NMiF correspondent Megan Kamerick talks with Gail Rubin, author of “A Good Goodbye: Funeral Planning For Those Who Don’t Plan To Die.” She coordinated the first Before I Die Festival in Albuquerque and holds regular “death cafes” around New Mexico.  Rubin calls herself the Doyenne of Death and has made it her mission to get more people to have conversations many would rather avoid.
