Water Conservation In New Mexico – This Year And Beyond

March 23, 2018 – The time to start thinking about water conservation is before a drought. And that’s exactly what the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (ABCWUA) started doing years ago.

Low snowpack and a forecast for increased drought conditions this year have many people worried, but division director Katherine Yuhas says her organization is ready for the challenge. She sits down this week with producer Sarah Gustavus to talk about short and long-term solutions for water conservation.
