Addressing Concussions In Youth Sports
March 23, 2018 – New Mexico state law requires that student athletes sit out for 10 days after a concussion. This week we learn about the risk factors for concussions and how students and parents can help better identify and address them when they happen. Correspondent Khalil Ekulona sits down with pediatric neuropsychologist Dr. Richard Campbell, Brandon Chavez, director of Spirit Xpress West,and soccer coach Lucien Starzynski.
