The Line: Accountability And UNM Athletics

July 27, 2018 – The UNM Board of Regents voted last week to eliminate four sports to address financial issues in the Athletics Department. The cuts included men’s soccer, men’s and women’s skiing and women’s beach volleyball. The Athletics Department also plans to reduce the rosters of several additional sports. 

Host Gene Grant and this week’s Line panelists discuss reactions to the cuts and the ongoing financial troubles in the Athletics Department.
