Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller On Key Issues & City Priorities
September 7, 2018 – When Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller took office in December of last year, there were some big issues that needed to be resolved.
The rollout of the Albuquerque Rapid Transit project had not gone as planned in 2017. The city is still waiting for buses for the route. And many residents still want to see changes in the Albuquerque Police Department, as required by a consent decree with the U.S. Department of Justice. Mayor Keller and his team have made announcements this year about a range of initiatives related to crime, economic development and community building.
