October 26, 2018 – The oil boom in southern New Mexico means more jobs in Carlsbad, but longtime residents and new arrivals are all finding it tough to find a place to live. The cost of both homes and rentals has gone up in recent years. And many local leaders report that there just aren’t enough places to house the current population.
