The Line: Chile Showdown

July 19, 2019 – Red or green? That’s New Mexico’s official state question. It shows just how important chile – ripe or otherwise – is to New Mexicans. So, when Governor Jared Polis of Colorado tweeted that his state’s Pueblo variety was the best in the world, New Mexico didn’t take it lying down.
