The Line: Rethinking the Public Regulation Commission
August 16, 2019 – Gene Grant and The Line opinion panel look at the possibility of reshaping New Mexico’s Public Regulation Commission, currently an elected body that regulates utilities, telecommunications, and motor carrier industries. The governor and other state leaders are eager to narrow the commission’s scope and redefine how commissioners earn their seats.
