UNM Faculty Vote to Unionize | The Line
October 25, 2019 – Last week, after two years of organizing, the faculty of the University of New Mexico made another attempt to form a union for collective bargaining. This time, the vote was overwhelmingly in favor of unionization. Gene Grant and The Line opinion panel examine the decision by UNM regular and adjunct faculty to unionize and look at a resurgence of organized labor in the news.
