New Mexico Legislative Wrap: What Passed | The Line
February 21, 2020 – Gene Grant and The Line opinion panel look back on the just-concluded 30-day session of the New Mexico Legislature and discuss the legislation that passed. Passing a budget is a must, but that effort came down to the wire, and final negotiations took place behind closed doors. The panelists discuss some of the other bills that passed, including the controversial “red flag” law, the early childhood fund bill, and an overhaul of the state’s pension system.
