June 5, 2020 – Correspondent Megan Kamerick talks with a protest organizer, an educator, and a city leader about the struggle of Black Lives Matter organizers to separate their message from broader anger and especially from violence. The group also discusses what successful systemic change looks like to the Black community.

Community Conversations: LGBTQ-Equality & Intersectionality 

Tuesday, June 30th: 4:30pm-6:30 pm 

  • Description: A digital panel of 3-4 community members from various race/ethnic groups that will discuss diversity, equity, inclusion topics specific to their community and perspective Community Conversations going forward will evolve to include LGBTQ, Disability, Immigrant/Refugee, and other cultural community members. This month we will focus on LGBTQ-Equality & Intersectionality. This learning opportunity is for all learners who are new to race and equity conversations and those who have been introduced.
