On the Environment: Valerie Rangel

December 31, 2021 –Valerie Rangel is the author of the 2019 book “Environmental Justice in New Mexico: Counting Coup.” In this essay, she talks about the intersection of existing environmental justice issues in New Mexico with the COVID-19 pandemic and asks New Mexicans and their political leaders to come together in addressing inequity.
