New Mexico’s Evolving Droughts & Wildfire Threats
4.22.2022 –Park Williams is a bioclimatologist who studies drought and wildfire in the western United States. He speaks with correspondent Laura Paskus about the ongoing drought and how it compares with droughts in the ancient past. The two also talked about wildfire in the West and how climate change and warmer temperatures affect fire season and landscapes. Williams is an associate professor in the Department of Geography at UCLA.
