Entrepreneurship series: Gary Oppedahl, Senator Tom Udall, Senator Martin Heinrich
This week, NEW MEXICO IN FOCUS continues its series on entrepreneurship in Albuquerque in a conversation with Gary Oppedahl, director of the city of Albuquerque’s Economic Development Department. Oppedahl is known locally as a serial entrepreneur who started several successful companies in New Mexico. He tells producer Sarah Gustavus why he is now working with public and private leaders to increase access to resources for people who want to start a business in Albuquerque.
Senator Tom Udall is pushing for changes in regulations of chemicals in the United States. He sits down with Gwyneth Doland to talk about the details of the legislation.
NMIF also hears from Senator Martin Heinrich, who joins Sarah Gustavus in studio to talk about proposed changes in mining regulations following the Gold King Mine spill earlier this summer.
