Protecting Access To Public Records & Public Meetings

January 29, 2016 – This week on New Mexico in Focus, correspondent Gwyneth Doland takes us to the Roundhouse to highlight the importance access to public records in our latest report for the People, Power and Democracy project.

We hear from Dan Boyd, capital bureau chief for the Albuquerque Journal, and Tania Maestas, director of the new Open Government Division in the Attorney General’s office.

People, Power and Democracy is a collaborative media project between KUNM, New Mexico in Depth, New Mexico News Port and New Mexico PBS that explores the influence of money in New Mexico politics.
