April 1, 2016 – This week, local media reported that state officials approached the UNM Health Sciences Center earlier this year about a 50 million dollar loan to help address the New Mexico’s Medicaid shortfall. UNMH declined the request. Does that change how the public views the regents decision to restructure the governance of the Health Sciences Center a few weeks ago?
