Comfort Dogs Help Children Who Are Testifying In Court

July 1, 2016 – This week, we bring New Mexico in Focus viewers a special report that first aired on the PBS News Hour. Comfort dogs are taking on a new role in the courtroom by providing support to kids who are called on to testify about difficult subjects. The dogs receive training in New Mexico, and special correspondent Kathleen McCleary brings us an inside view of how the dogs work.
