The Line: Special Session Deal And Looking Ahead To Next Year

October 14, 2016 – Lawmakers passed a budget deal last week in the special legislative session. But battles over the budget are far from over. All of the seats in the legislature are up for election this year and the budget is expected to be an important issue again in the next regular legislative session in January. Host Gene Grant and this week’s Line opinion panelists debate the budget deal and talk about what might happen next.
