Albuquerque Mayoral Debate Special
This week, NEW MEXICO IN FOCUS, a recap of the Albuquerque mayoral debate that took place on New Mexico PBS on September 30. Presented in partnership with the League of Women Voters of Central New Mexico, the event featured Mayor Richard J. Berry and challengers Pete Dinelli and Paul Heh addressing questions on economic development, water and growth, the troubled Albuquerque Police Department, the pending special election ballot initiative to ban late-term abortions, and the issue of contracts granted by city departments.
The Line opinion panel reviews key points of the debate and discusses the implications. The Albuquerque Mayoral election takes place Tuesday, October 8.
