Bill Updates Journalism Shield Law for Digital Age

2.14.25 – State Rep. Sarah Silva talks with Politics Correspondent Gwyneth Doland about a proposed bill that would update our state’s journalism shield law. The bill would prohibit state agencies from compelling reporters to cough up confidential sources or information — with a few limited exceptions. Santa Fe New Mexican Executive Editor Bill Church also weighs in on the proposal.
