Contested Federal Seats in New Mexico Primaries | The Line
May 22, 2020 –With the state’s primary close upon us, Gene Grant and The Line opinion panelists look at contested federal races. The race is on for an open Senate seat as Tom Udall retires. Rep. Ben Ray Lujan, leaving his House seat to run for Senate, has left an opening in 3rd Congressional District. And in Southern New Mexico, there’s a battle going on for the Republican nomination to the 2nd Congressional District. The Line looks at these races and some of the campaign attack ads that go with them.
