Court Victory for New Mexico Over Water
December 18, 2020 – Gene Grant and The Line opinion panelists look at the state’s U.S. Supreme Court victory in a water battle with Texas. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of New Mexico, saying the state should get credit for water that evaporated while it was being held for Texas – at Texas’ request – during a tropical storm event. The panel talks about what it means ahead of a Supreme Court decision in a larger case involving a dispute over water from the Rio Grande.
