Eviction Wave Expected
May 14, 2021 – Federal and state moratoriums on evictions are nearing their expiration date, with a federal judge recently ruling the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention didn’t have the authority to prevent evictions under a public health order. The Line opinion panel looks at the potential for an avalanche of evictions without the help of moratoriums and public assistance.
