Formerly Incarcerated Women Face Unique Challenges When They Return Home

May 13, 2016 – A larger number of women are serving time in prison than ever before. What does that mean for families? What about when women finish serving their time and return home?

This week our correspondent Stan Wilson sits down with two women, one who served time in prison and one who works with formerly incarcerated women, to talk about why women are ending up behind bars and what the need to find success and stability when they return to their communities.
