Libraries Help Students and Adults Develop new Skills

Libraries across the country recently celebrated the services they offer to the community during National Library Week. We wanted to hear how local libraries in New Mexcio addressing some of the persistent problems we face in New Mexico like poverty and low graduation rates.

NMiF producer Sarah Gustavus sat down with Deborah Hassi, Youth Services Manager at the  Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Library, and library director Dean Smith to talk about the services libraries provide to children and families.
