NM Rep. Lente Says Tax Package Will Help Lower and Middle Class

3.21.25 – House Bill 14, an extensive tax package, passed the House last week. The Senate Finance Committee approved it earlier this week – but not without some key amendments. Bill sponsor and Chair of the House Taxation and Revenue Committee, Representative Derrick Lente, tells Politics Correspondent Gwyneth Doland why he’s not going to support some of those changes.
