NM’s Only GOP Rep Objects to Votes
January 8, 2021 – Gene Grant and The Line opinion panelists talk about newly elected Republican Congresswoman Yvette Herrell’s objection to certifying electoral college votes for President-elect Joe Biden. After the violence that erupted at the U.S. Capitol, a group of lawmakers changed their minds about objecting to electoral votes from six swing states. Representative Herrell was not one of them. The Line looks at election integrity, the perception of voter fraud, and what Rep. Herrell’s objection may mean for her political career.
