Resources Available For People Thinking About Suicide
April 6, 2018
April 6, 2018 – New Mexico ranks fourth in the nation for suicides in the country, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. People who might be thinking about suicide might also face challenges finding a place to get help in our large, mostly rural state.
This week Sarah Gustavus sits down with Wendy Linebrink-Allison from the New Mexico Crisis and Action Line to talk about the power a single conversation can have for individuals who are struggling with suicidal thoughts.
If you or a someone you know is struggling, call the New Mexico Crisis and Access Line 1-855-NMCRISIS (1-855-662-7474), or call or text the Peer to Peer Warmline at 1-855-4NM-7100 (1-855-466-7100).
