Secretary of State Race: Maggie Toulouse Oliver

October 21, 2016 – This week, New Mexico in Focus correspondent Gwyneth Doland sits down with Secretary of State candidate Maggie Toulouse Oliver (D) to talk about some of the top issues in this year’s race. They discuss voter registration, proposed voter ID laws, mail and online voting, and Toulouse Oliver’s record while serving as Bernalillo county clerk.

We invited both candidates in the Secretary of State race to participate in a candidate discussion or one-on-one interview. Nora Espinoza (R) declined repeated requests to appear on New Mexico PBS.
