Supreme Court Candidate Discussion

October 14, 2016 – On the ballot in November are two candidates for the New Mexico Supreme Court. Incumbent Judith Nakamura (R) was appointed to the bench in 2015. She was previously a judge in the Second Judicial District. Her challenger Michael Vigil (D) currently serves on the New Mexico Court of Appeals.

NMiF correspondent Gwyneth Doland sits down this week with the candidates to talk about their professional experience and how they view their roles on the bench.
