This week, NEW MEXICO IN FOCUS features a humorous holiday interview with Lady Grantham of Downton Abbey, as played by Ken Ansloan, aka Tequila Mockingbyrd, founder of The Dolls, Albuquerques longstanding drag troupe. The groups annual holiday show will satirize the popular PBS series, as well as Breaking Bad.
NMiF Producer Megan Kamerick talks with the authors of a new study on the impact of the New Mexico MainStreet program, which is in 27 sites around the state. Researchers found those areas are bucking economic woes and creating more jobs and investment.
The Line Opinion Panel looks at a proposal by State Land Commissioner Ray Powell to obtain more federal lands in New Mexico for economic development and for funding early childhood education.
