The Line: Bail Bond Reform Fallout
November 3, 2017 – It’s only been since June that the new court rules created by New Mexico’s judiciary went into effect, but there is already a call from Governor Martinez and others to “repeal and replace.” Those rules followed an amendment to the state’s constitution, approved by the voters last year, that reshaped the state’s old bail bond system.
