August 2, 2019 – According to Jens Erik Gould, a reporter with the Santa Fe New Mexican, most asylum-seekers at the border will not qualify. Yet migrants still stream through the border, as the Trump administration crafts a deal with Guatemala to first handle asylees passing through that Central American country from nearby El Salvador and Honduras.
