The Line: More Midterm Election Results
November 9, 2018 – The trend to elect Democrats and women in the 2018 midterm elections also had its effect on legislative and judicial races in New Mexico. This was especially notable in the Court of Appeals where four Democratic challengers (women) won over Republican incumbents (men) in contested races. Gene Grant and the Line opinion panelists discuss these and other notable election outcomes, and look forward to how a new governor will need to work with legislators on both sides of the aisle.
