The Line: Tax Issues
February 15, 2019 – April 15th may be a long way off, but tax season is in full swing. At the Roundhouse, lawmakers are looking at a multitude of tax proposals, from reinstating the food tax to the removal of a tax on feminine hygiene products, known as the “tampon tax.” They’re also wrestling with the need for major tax reform. Gene Grant and the Line opinion panelists wind through the confusing maze of taxes in New Mexico.
