Top Stories of 2021 (#3 & #2)
December 31, 2021 – The Line opinion panel unveils the third biggest story of the 2021. Climate change continues to impact all aspects of life in New Mexico, from warming temperatures, to longer fire season and a lingering drought. The Line panelists discuss how the state is responding to the impacts of climate change now and moving forward. And, coming in at number two on our top stories of the year is education during a pandemic. Students returned to in-person learning in 2021, but it was anything but smooth sailing in classrooms across the state. The panelists discuss the ongoing learning loss and what the state can do to try and bridge that gap moving forward.
