January 23, 2017 – Thousands of people turned out in New Mexico last weekend to support the Women’s March on Washington. Rallies and marches took place in cities throughout the United States.

Intern Kevin Maestas joined NMiF this semester for the People, Power and Democracy project, which examines ethics, accountability and transparency in state government. Maestas brought back images from the Albuquerque Women’s Rally.
